“Haiti & the Holocaust”

In 1938 at the Evian Conference, 32 countries refused to help Jewish refugees. Only one small Black Republic said YES.
From 1937 to 1940, Haiti issued passports and visas to save hundreds of Jewish families from the Holocaust. While America, Britain and others closed their doors, Haiti opened hers.
